How To Configure Covad: You can now configure the pricing plans for Covad under the "subscriptions" link in your
DSL backoffice at https://orders.value.net/Tools/Partner/Subscriptions/Default.aspx. You will also notice that there is a
"Covad DSL Modem" under network #0 on that same page; you will also need to configure a retail price for this modem. After you finish this, the HTML ordering code
we provide you will automatically offer Covad DSL to your users when they prequalify on the web.
Prequal HTML: You should continue to use the prequal HTML code we supply in the DSL admin interface and it will
respond with any Covad plans that are available based on phone number and address.
Covad Modems: Covad will automatically send a DSL modem to the customers when a DSL order is placed. This is
different then our other DSL vendors. These modems are branded "Covad" and they come with a self-install CD. All the users will automatically get a
modem and you pay $35 for this modem. There is currently no way to stop the shipment of the modems, so please note this when you
confirm these orders. The modem brand is a BroadXent 8012-G1 ADSL2+ modem.
ISP Change Requests: We can support DSL orders for users who want to transition directly from AT&T, Verizon,
Qwest and Bellsouth to our Covad DSL system. This is an easy transition and you will simply place the orders as ISP Changes during the ordering
We cannot support orders for individual users who want to change from their current Covad DSL to our Covad DSL. Covad makes this
extra hard to process. If you have your own Covad DSL contract and want to transition ALL of your current Covad users to our
system, we can make special arrangements, just know that there is paperwork to fill out and the process will need to be OK'd by
